It’s been a fantastic start to a very exciting season! We have been blessed with an above average snowpack and are seeing lots of new guests from all over Canada and the United States.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of having Mr. Chris Burandt visit us for the first time!! You’re probably asking how did we manage to get the Number 1 man in the industry out here for a ride? The answer is: we didn’t. Schultz Motorsports put a program together for some of their select snow check clients. These lucky guys got to spend the weekend here and ride with Burandt exclusively; skies were blue and lots of fresh POW got destroyed leaving everyone with an incredible experience envied by many.

Grizzly Lodge would like to thank Schultz Motorsports for choosing us as there Number 1 spot to host there special dealership events !

The snow has been accumulating over the past week, took my first ride up the mountain yesterday and had a complete blast ! Dumped 6 + more inches today and is still coming down.

Gearing UP

Wow, hard to believe we are on the edge of another season ! There’s been snow on the ground for a couple weeks now and more in the forecast coming soon ! I expect to make my first ride up the mountain next week to check out how the POW is accumulating.

Last season was by far our best yet, lots of exciting new people to visit and experience the Lodge and our amazing terrain, inducing SLEDNECKS riders Brett Turcotte & Brad Gilmore who went big on some sweet shots that can been seen on slednecks 15 !

Also we are proud to be working on a regular basis with Jimmy Dorrance of LakeHead Helicopters to provide guests with 15 minute breath taking mountain tours or transport from LakeHead’s base to the Lodge where your rental sled will be waiting !

Powder MONTH

February may have been slow when it came to fresh snow, but March is rely showing us what Fresh POWDER means. The picture below pretty much tells is all ! More than 2 + ft over the past 48 hr and still dumping tonight !

Haven’t been here to experience the Lodge and our amazing terrain ? Openings starting March 30 – into April. With a great snow pack in place and more coming by the day conditions will be excellent well into spring !

We are excited to be experiencing our busiest Dec / Jan to date. Snow has been a little slow coming, but even so we haven’t had any trouble finding great powder to tear up ! Today was no exception, woke up to approx 6 inches here at the lodge and found close to 18 in some of our secrete play grounds. Needless to say, there where some stucks !! its been snowing ….

We have been getting snow consistantlly for weeks now and its starting to pile up ! Took our first ride up the mountain last week and was very excited with how the snow pack has been building for November. Picture below was taken this moring after a fresh dusting last night.
