Nearing the end to a SPECTACULAR season !
April 25th, 2010
Hard to believe the season is almost over, no doubt it was a good one, when you can starting riding fresh powder in October and finish riding fresh power in April thats more than any sledder can ask for ! Still approx 6′ of snow in the alpine but with these warm spring days its melting fast.
Don’t forget to check back here over the summer for Lodge news and Updates.
Easter Powder !
April 3rd, 2010
Here we are, Easter weekend and its dumped nearly a ft. of fresh powder in the past 2 days !! Last week we had a chance to do a little exploring and found some awesome new terrain and most importantly tons of untracked powder. I know lots of people have put there sleds away for the season but you can bet we’ll be riding this season out into late May !
Just Getting Started !
March 11th, 2010
Hey everybody just a little reminder, just because its been looking and feeling like spring in the valleys doesn’t mean the sledding season is over by any means ! We are still getting beautiful dumps of fresh powder which means the best of the season is just beginning. Still some availability for bookings in March and lots of room in April, which is usually when we experience our peak snow pack !

Fresh Powder ….. Not Rain
January 16th, 2010
Well it might be raining in the valleys but not so much up here at the lodge ! Went for a quick spin this afternoon to check out the alpine conditions . Was well worth my time as there wasn’t a track to be found, looked like a completely untouched Mt. Was kinda fogged in so we where not able to carve up to much of the fresh stuff but will be back tomorrow when the sun starts shining !! Took a quick probe below the gas drop and was happy to see my prob almost disappear ….. 8 ft probe and only about a ft left … ill leave the math up to you. – 1 c tonight with the odd flurry passing through. Cheers
The Place to be.
January 7th, 2009
The snow has been falling and our numbers have been climbing …. The past 2 weeks over the holidays has been verry busy for us ! Newyears at the lodge was the place to be as you can see in the picture below. The snow has been amazing this season, with our first ride to the alpine being Nov 1 and its been getting nothing but better since!

Not convinced? Take a look at our photo gallery! We’ll be using our new blog here to report news about the lodge, report on snow conditions to let you know when there is lots of fresh powder, which happens often around here. We’ll also write about some great rides we’ve had with our guests and post some of their photos.
