We are excited to be experiencing our busiest Dec / Jan to date. Snow has been a little slow coming, but even so we haven’t had any trouble finding great powder to tear up ! Today was no exception, woke up to approx 6 inches here at the lodge and found close to 18 in some of our secrete play grounds. Needless to say, there where some stucks !! Check out Snow Riders West and see the latest Feature on Grizzly Lodge .

Happy New Year to all our past, and future, guests and friends! It has been an exciting time here at Grizzly Lodge lately. There was a fantastic group of couples up for the New Years weekend. Much fun was had by all, and as usual the riding and food was stellar! (thanks Gwen)
Bookings have been increasing steadily as well, so any of you riders out there wanting to ‘live our dream’ had better contact us before your favourite spots are gone.
Riders in our terrain have been reporting excellent powder conditions at, and below tree line. The high ridges are still lean on snow, thanks to transport by wind, so you will want to reduce the speed and how deep you carve those skis. Instead head down into one of our many ‘play zones’ to satisfy that climb & surf craving. Now I say, “thanks to transport by wind” because all that snow has been deposited into our best boondocking areas. Hopping off the sled can have you waist deep in quality fluffies! For those sledders that prefer to have their snow pre-packed, the snowcat has groomed many kilometers of trail to make the travels smooth.
